I met some great people such as
on Friday as literally the best Suki I have ever seen. Ever. Plain and simple. Only bought a Korra fan, a Sokka button for my bubba, and a General Iroh phone charm that day. Also, I ran into one of my best friends; Alyssa by chance and hung out with her for a good portion of the day, as well as a bunch of my native friends. I met my friend named Colleen for the first time which was fantastic too.
Saturday I woke up at 8:00 and asked my aunt to take me to the Dollar Tree to get fake roses for a bouquet that I gave to just about each Korra that I saw. That was before my two friends that were staying with me woke up, haha. I had a little private shoot with
and her (now mutual, actually) friend Ryan as Asami and Korra. Highlight of my weekend for sure. Bought a Suki print that day. I met
as Korra (and Daisy met up too!) briefly on the skywalk and we had ship wars with
as Mako and
as Asami. Korra broke my heart! *sniffs* That was pretty great. Then we kept running into them around the con, omg. We waited for the Avatar the Last Con panel for an hour and a half in the room and it cancelled at the last minute. Which pissed me off. Then apparently it happened anyway. UGH. We missed the Korra shoot for that. Actually, I missed every Korra shoot. Which is a bummer. But the fantastic private shoot made up for it, definitely. We stayed til 10:30 ish and came home. I talked to
for like... four hours before I fell asleep at two to wake up at six.
Then Sunday, wow, Sunday. I was (and am, actually) upset about how fast the weekend went by. I bought like twelve prints and two buttons, (one for my boyfriend!) they're shipping buttons. I got Sokka and Suki and they face each other, grinning nervously. Too cute omg. I got a little piece of paper out and wrote "HONOR" on it and gave it to a Zuko shortly before the day ended. I ran outside on one of the terraces, my friends following to watch, and handed him the paper saying, "Here's your honor." He took it from me, said, "MMM. THANK YOU." omg I laughed waaaaay too hard.
Overall, a fantastic weekend. (might add a little more in but as of the moment I'm a tad pressed for time.)
